Core Experience of Principals:
Over 20+ years of executive experience in the financial services
industry and during that time I've earned my way up every rung
of the corporate information technology ladder. Early in my career,
I operated and managed systems and departments at Western Union.
Most recently, I've held the position of Managing Director, Information
Technology and Regional Technology Officer Americas for
ABN AMRO. As Managing Director, IT & RTO Americas,
I had overall responsibility for the direction and control of
all wholesale banking information systems and technology activities.
I led the ABN Americas' systems initiatives in identifying and
responding to emerging issues, such as implementing a content
management solution and an enterprise storage solution to address
the need for enterprise wide content and information management
long before the Sarbanes-Oxley Act became the driving force in
the industry. I led the consolidation of disparate accounting
systems into a financial information processing and reporting
solution. I established a QA process for application packaging
and software distribution work to reduce the amount of post implementation
support required. I established an Architecture Office to help
realize the benefits of architectural, application, and processes
standardization and formed a more streamlined IT organization.
Most recently, I've implemented a governance model that aligned
the regional Americas team with their international counterparts
and created a uniform global systems organization. Also under
my leadership, the firm uniformly reduced managed costs in all
IT areas. In the 20+ years that my career has spanned the financial
services industry, I've focused on identifying, developing and
implementing cost effective, innovative technology solutions,
whilst also building business focused technology teams. My ability
to accomplish this time and time again has been rewarded by increasingly
greater leadership positions at Carroll McEntee, UBS Warburg,
Morgan Stanley, Fuji Securities, and ICI/ADP. Industry: Securities,
