Qualifications:
After studies in industrial engineering worked over 7 years
within a lot of industries. Joined VNU, Holland (publisher) in
1977 involved in the change to completely digitizing all prepress
lithography activities and operated as Production Manager. Studied
economics at Erasmus University and did several business trainings
in marketing and sales. Founder of my own company SME in 1989,
highly automated in prepress sector and focussed on packaging.
As General Manager of SME focussed on rapid growth with constant
innovating products and processes in a rapidly changing market.
Joined in 2001 the Innovation Centre VIGC as Senior Consultant,
in which role responsable for generic multi-client research programs,
seminars and consultancy. Implemented workflow-automation, provided
business consultancy and businessstrategy on boardlevel. As managing
director of VIGC from 2002 on, expanded successfully to service
250 members in the Benelux. Achieved profitable revenues to generate
half of the centre's annual revenue. Left VIGC in december 2005
and founder of my own consultancy company. Languages Dutch (native)
English, German fluent.
