Core Experience:
Tax adviser dealing with all SME tax problems including
tax planning for their owners. Also experience in offshore matters,
so owners/proprietors/directors/partners born overseas are of
particular interest, and have more potential for tax saving.
Industry Sectors:
Grounding with major international bank where early
experience of UK and overseas tax was gained. Then joined City
accountancy practice specialising in the insurance market, and
who were Lloyd's Panel Auditors. Many of then clients were Lloyd's
Names and all were High Net Worth individuals at least prior
to the first Lloyd's debacle! Moved onto another City accountancy
practice where I was Head of the Tax Department, and subsequently
joined the international firm of Grant Thornton as Tax Manager
in London. Grant Thornton in the UK expressly regards the SME
sector as its core business. Became consultant with niche Central
London practice to concentrate on aggressive tax planning for
companies and their owners before establishing own tax practice.
