I did my apprenticeship and very quickly moved into Management, first in the building industry, then into the civil building industry. When I moved to South Africa I studied for and obtained my Diploma in Managment Accounting and Novell CNE, leading to being appointed as Manager Information Systems.On leaving this employer I started up and successfully ran my own company installing POS systems into Fuel Stations. On moving to Ireland I obtained a Certificate in Safety and worked at and subsequently consulted as a Safety Officer for the past 6 years
