1. I was the purchasing lead at Ford Motor Company for the Asia Pacific and Africa region, on all powertrain installation commodities (including: Exhaust systems - Catalytic Converters, Precious Metals, Mufflers, Pipes; Drivetrains - Axles, Transmissions, Engines; and Cooling Systems)

2. I developed sourcing strategies for each commodity, drove down cost through negotiation and design changes, and program managed each order to ensure delivery to strict timing requirements

3. I exported automotive components (including; catalytic converters, leather covers, and aluminium wheels) to global markets (including: Japan, England, Germany, Brazil, and USA)

4. I had a virtual office with employees in over 6 different countries, and managed cultural, language and time zone diversity to achieve my gaols

5. I have had a successful expatriate career - enjoying Shanghai, China with my family for 3 years.
