Worked in a large ($1B+) family-owned conglomerate
in a wide range of assignments. Purchased businesses ($10M --
$50M in sales) into the portfolio and served as General Manager/President
or VP/COO during the transition. Lead the effort to develop the
patent portfolio and patent prosecution/licensing program. Served
in product development of electronic and electromechanical products.
Led several newly acquired divisions for a large family-owned
conglomerate. Lead one unit to double digit growth in the first
year despite a wildcat strike, plant closing and staff defections.
Restructured sales and marketing programs and lead new product
development program to a 15% sales increase and 18% GM increase.
Also lead a $20M company as we went from a $4M loss to a slight
gain. Sold unprofitable operations, restructured and implemented
a new ERP system.
